Ryan was 7lbs 5 oz--wasn't she bigger than that? I'm just saying, I think doctors have asses to cover so they cause fear. But seriously, if you're worried then just move her to formula and get her on a schedule, then you'll know better. Ry nursed SO often that I just didn't worry and my pediatrician understood breastfeeding so she was never worried. But I have to say that Ryan was NEVER in a high percentile regarding weight. But he didn't need to be. |

She was 6 lbs 8 ounces at birth. 6 lbs 5 at discharge (that wed) and 6 lbs 3 ounces at her weight check that Friday. So she's gained 6 ounces in 12 days. I thought that was pretty good considering she lost so much after her birth  |

It's gone I pumped off and on for almost two hours this morning without so much as a let down feeling. She won't latch. I'm at a loss here. Gonna try and find some of that mother's milk supplement stuff ? The lactation coach is " SO" helpful. "Just keep trying"..wish I had gotten my pediatric recovery nurses cell number. She knew her shit. Had that baby latched in seconds. For ten to fifteen minutes a boob! |

I wonder can I do that? Call the hospital and be like "can y'all put me in touch with Carmen from pediatrics? Because she was a nursing whiz! Girl doesn't even have kids yet and was by far the best lactation teacher I've ever had at that hospital! (The last lady was a mean old bitch who hurt my boobies. )
