Trumps action shiftings are the norm, it seems to me. First comes the honest, gut response, followed by something his advisors tell him he has to do for damage control. There is no way to know where he stands. Do we go by the first stupid comment on a subject, or the last stupud comment on a subject.
Here's my prediction: Trump will stick with positions that really ignite his supporters, no matter how controversial they are. The wall, Islamic fear-mongering, companies moving jobs overseas, and undercurrents of racism and white power will all remain strong. He will be more polished, and seem more reasonable because he can focus his efforts on a few talking points, and on exploiting the weaknesses (real or perceived) of only one adversary. He will continue to have meltdowns when his flaws are exposed. He may or may not be prepared for debates. He'll either wow people with his preparedness, or let his ego override his advisors and refuse to prepare and get bitch slapped in a debate.
I think it will all boil down to how smart Trump really is. Is he smart enough to listen to his campaign advisors, or will his ego refuse to believe that anyone could know better than Agent Orange himself?
In the meantime, we're getting passports.

I think you're spot on, Abby. But there's part of me that wonders if his strategy all along was to be so provocative that people HAVE to pay attention and now that we're down to the wire and he's the candidate he's going to get real. But his ego, jeez! He's definitely got one but I honestly think they ALL do its just the others are groomed politicians and they know what to say and how to act--their behavior is learned and less 'real'. His behavior is who he really is, I think.
It's just all very interesting.

I really need to renew my passport.
The problem being. I'm pretty sure US citizens are going to be barred entry to any civilized country in the next few years. I realize I'm incredibly cynical. I get it. I'm a horrible pessimist. I honestly see his election as being the end of our country as we know it. We will be cut off from the rest of the world and left to rot. Our economy better toughen up....because if he talks too much shit on the chinese they will come to collect our debt. And happily take it in blood. And I truly think our allies will shun us and that even those who say "fuck that guy" and try to expatriate won't be allowed to. We will have to become completely self reliant because he will alienate everyone... and they will leave us to it because we preach "democracy for everyone" so fucking hard to the rest of the world and have gone to war to impose our will on others so many times......
He's the worst home grown terrorist created. He will single handedly destroy our country. I truly believe this. Hillary is a horrific untrustworthy bitch.
But she knows how to work and play well with others. I do not believe he's capable. I don't think it's an act.

Trump goes with his gut. He's hot-headed, unapologetic, and vindictive. Those sometimes work in business, especially when you're rich enough that you can afford to make enemies. He's woefully uninformed about almost every facet of government. Diplomatic relationships are not business relationships, countries are not corporations, and citizens are not employees. This country is not a bargaining chip. I think he envisions us as pawns rather than people. The stakes are too high. Or the steaks....?

To the point I was having trouble not gagging. Imagine ....dog in heat x post human sex smell x really hot sweaty day and you forgot to powder and did extensive lawn work in the tightest black leggings you own. I kept running away from her because I was convinced people would think it was coming from me. (She kept finding me somehow and wanted to alternate complimenting my Kids to questioning my parenting choices. It was exhausting) OPPO- other peoples pussy odor . Reasons I don't leave the house. |
