The plumber is back.
We are now having to deal with the possibility that our city sewer line is busted.
I hate this house so goddamn much.

Another $300 to get the water flowing going again. And it's gonna be $2000 to replace the clay pipe in the backyard. They won't warranty their work today. The sewer line will back up again if we don't get it fixed it's just a matter of when.
Sigh.

I meant this to be a goofy face for y'all - intended to express, "Probably needed sunscreen on more than just my face". Then I looked at it and decided it was more like, "For a second, my sunburn distracted me from the fact that I have no eyebrows".  |

How can they tell if it's your part of the sewer or the city's? I dunno. It's in the middle of our backyard nowhere near fuckin trees but is somehow full if roots. |

It's one of those things on my list of, "Easier to take away from than add to." It's also my beef with clothes. Short people can hem things. Ever tried to lengthen jeans? Amara and I were shopping the other day and mid-ankle "short" pants were everywhere. We just looked at each other, and she said, "Woo hoo! We've been rockin' that look for a while now, right? I have those in every color!" |
