Lmao, sorry Abby. We have a football team, and for work I was told to wear my Jersey on game days. But I am the only one in the province who doesn't own one, and those things are stupid expensive, so I bought a $10 tee shirt that says their name on it instead, and I looked up game days cause I don't have a clue. So I go to work in my nice new shirt. Once. I told my boss I can't do it anymore because people kept asking me questions about the team, like I was supposed to know what I was talking about and I got to look like the fucking idiot who didn't even understand half the words they were using. When I wear my normal shirt people discuss the finer points of whiskey with me, on which I can converse expansively.

Ha! Day motherfucking 1, he's started the process to pull us out of the war (happy dance in circles) Yay Trudeau! . I walked through the Holocaust Museum in DC, and I sat down at one of those interaction screens. IT was talking about how Americans and those in the western hemisphere didn't get involved in WW 2 because it didn't concern them. IT was across an ocean. We stuck our blasted heads in the sand for 3 years while millions upon millions were killed because of their ethnicity. You know what we kept saying here in the good ole USA...We said it wasn't our problem. I'm sorry. Humankind is our problem. When we sit back and let people be slaughtered because of their beliefs, then we have a problem with humanity. I'm sorry, but I'm not happy with pulling out of a situation that by god we helped to freaking create when we created a vacuum. But please, lets all carry on and bury our heads in the sand. Nothing here people. It has nothing whatsoever to do with us. Bill and I looked at each other after walking through the Holocaust Museum and said the exact same thing...We are doing it again. History is repeating itself, and we make ourselves feel better by saying it isn't our problem.

There's a reason that I don't normally get deeply invested in politics. In my experience, there is little difference between the two major parties, and too little support for any of the minor parties to pay attention to them. This year, I dunno, I probably just have too much time on my hands. I have been reading too much; watching too many videos. The weird thing is that I'm mostly reading up on Trump. I want to know why anyone would support this guy: www.msn.com/en-us/news/video/trump-get-the-baby-out-of-here/vi-BBv9SxWwww.msn.com/en-us/news/video/trump-get-the-baby-out-of-here/vi-BBv9SxWI can't find a single reason outside of the obvious xenophobic, racist fear and hatred. I am still searching for some intelligent reason that makes him an appealing candidate, but I don't think it's there at all. I just don't understand. Not at all.

I don't get it. I've asked.... Several people who I consider intelligent. And I'm talking doctors lawyers, and teachers . Who up until this election I respect WHY they support him.
Thinking... I'll get an educated response.
Yea. "He tells it like it REALLY is. "
No. Just no. There is a difference between no filter and honesty.. Huge... Chasm- like. And I'm pretty prettying sure a filter is at least job requirement number 2 for a potus.

Agreed. I'm trying not to do a lot on FB, because I'm a political junkie, but even I'm sick of it. Even if I wanted to, there's no place for debate. Firstly, there's no debating Trump supporters, because if they actually cared about reason, they wouldn't support him to begin with. Secondly, I know this is stereotyping, but honest to FSM, GOP motherfuckers do not know how to separate, "what I think", from "evidence that supports a fact, which is not the same as a belief, you dumb ass". So, it's fruitless. I can win a debate, but when someone is delusional, it's physically painful just to hear their thoughts, much less reply.
Here is my latest Trump theory. I believe with my whole heart that he believes his own bullshit. His world is made up solely of whim and fancy, and truth is entirely of his own design and imagination. Now, he is surrounded by high level enablers who support his fictional universe, and any agenda he wants to put in it. Like having a room in your Barbie mansion just for talking vegetables. Sure. Talking vegetables are the chosen ones! Believe me! This is allowing Don to lose any sense of perceived pressure to conform. To play nice because people don't tolerate complete indecency, so you have to censor yourself a little so as not to discredit yourself. But Don has decided that he can now forego that, and legitimize and fully embrace his own false reality. Why shouldn't he? No one is stopping him. And he will sink further and fall deeper before it's all over. He will never be sorry, he will never be accountable, he will never admit or accept defeat. He will always be a victim, and never be wrong. He never loses, he only has things stolen (tiny hands, you know). I will never, EVER forgive the GOP leadership for validating his insanity. The fact that they still have constituent support is disgusting. It's all disgusting. I wanna cry, and I wanna scream. It's beyond me. Simply beyond anything I ever thought my country could allow.

My father in law is (a certifiable idiot) is voting for him.
Me: You're the child of Puerto Rican and Mexican immigrants.
Him:so. I was born here.
Me: that makes you and your siblings anchor babies. We can't prove your parents naturalization.
Him: I don't get it.
Me:that's what he's counting on.
Enjoy Mexico.

When you read the stats Trump quotes, you can easily research back to the fact that he lumps all immigrants together. Legal or illegal, it's all the same.
