And smell. Ugh. My lighter color tops show the discoloration but even the shirts that aren't discolored have a the smell stained in them, the sweat smell. I sweat, when I'm hot and when I'm anxious. So a top I wear (and sweat in) often, even if it's just been washed, the pits will smell before the end of the day. Anyone found anything for this? I bought some oxyclean spray and tried it yesterday--it helped but I don't know it's getting rid of it completely. I also bought a bar of Fels-Naptha but I haven't tried it yet. Vinegar and baking soda maybe?

Not sure about the stains, but I used to have huge, embarassing pit sweat. All. The. Fucking. Time. I was so self conscious. Certain Dri worked like a charm for me. I think that it's similar to the clinical strength deoderants out now, but can't be sure. It's a roll on, and you put it on at night.
This problem disappeared for me at some point. Not sure when or why, come to think about it. Hmm.

I get stains too. I haven't tried too hard to clean them, but I also buy cheap clothes (that I don't have a problem tossing into the donation bin) and I wear a lot of sweaters (covers that shit right up. ) I keep come my across articles like this: www.rd.com/home/cleaning-organizing/how-to-get-rid-of-sweat-stains/One of these days I'll care enough to try one of these.

I was just looking for articles about sweat-wicking workout clothes, and got a lot more sweat info than I expected. But they concurred with the article linked above for sweat stain removal - one part dishwashing soap with two parts hydrogen peroxide. Soak for an hour, or as long as overnight, then wash as usual.
