Moooooom!!! The bookstore won't buy my book back!!! I paid $175 for that book, and it was used when I bought it, and that damage was already there!!! They bought Katie's back for $100!! Where's MY $100??? This is bogus!
Did they buy your other books back?
Yeah. I got like $120 total.
Ok. You can give me what you have when I pick you up on Wednesday. "Your" money, hahaha, good one!
I hate you, Mother.
My work here is done. See you Wednesday. Love ya!

Haha! That's too funny. College textbooks are INSANELY priced.

They really are crazy. They need an online student marketplace, where they undercut stores and sell their textbooks directly to students who enrolled in that class for the next semester.

Even the text available online is outrageously priced. They sell it to you new for $120, buy it back for $20, then turn around and sell it used for $119.

THE #1 reason I can't justify going back to college. There's no reason for this in the age of electronic books.

I rented both my texts online. I think it was under $100 total. At the end of the semester you have the option to buy them (no markup! just subtract the price you paid to rent), or mail them back (free).
