Ryan went upstairs to get dressed for school then came back down and said he had to tell me about something that happened at school yesterday (which typically results in me banging my head against the wall, OMG go get dressed!) but this morning I obliged and I'm so glad I did.
He said at recess yesterday they were playing a game and Cooper usually doesn't play with them, so Ry went up to him and asked him to play and told him they could be 'bros' and he's now excited he made a new friend. Oh the feels!!
Now if I could just get him to stop burping out loud in class...

I love it! His teacher keeps telling me 'he's a mess', he has trouble staying on task and focusing as well as getting his work done in a timely manner, all things that *I* believe are just his age. But he's a good kid and he has a kind heart. I'll take it.

I have a 9 year old girl and a 7 year old boy, she was so different at 7 than he is. I never used to believe that the genders were that different until I had both. Kaleb is still such a little boy, and happy to stay that way. Sarah has spent her whole childhood trying to be a teenager

And for all my feminazi tendencies, I really think boys and girls are different from the day they are born. I hear pregnant women say they hope it's a girl, and I'm like, "Ummm, no you don't". Girls are born wanting ruby red slippers, boys are born wanting a big stick to hit stuff with.

I totally believe they are different because my friends have girls and omg. And my one friend only has a girl and because of her own childhood/mom issues she's creating her very own monster and doesn't even see it.

OMG the fucking sticks. And guns. And fire blasters. My boys love lego, everything they buld is some sort of vehicle, be it motorcycle, seadoo, or battleship and all of them have guns and fireblasters.

I don't think I would even know how to raise a girl especially because I suck at being one already!

It's scary. All of it is scary, at the end of the day, but she has deep seeded issues that are unresolved, she babies her daughter, it's insane. She tells her she's the best, the most wonderful, that girls are better/smarter than boys, that she's just AWESOME! She's a little shit. And it's frustrating, because Ry and her are friends. But she's an elitist little 8 year old and it's only going to get worse.

Asking for his own high power rifle for Christmas since he's old enough to take hunter safety and hunt with me this year. I honestly can't imagine having a girl. I'd have no idea what to do with a girl.

My girls are so ... Different from each other.
And from the rest of their classmates tbh.
P is the most "girly"... And now that we've overcome her dislike of dirt (mommy .. Baths make it go away! Did you KNOW?!") Even she's not that bad.
They throw on their princess dress up clothes grab bubbas nerf guns and alternate playing "popular girls" with "ninjas" and shooting bb gun targets out bubbas window Lol
Yeaaaa.. My girls are weird. I'm OK with it.
