Chuck and Abby have a 9 year old son. Abby also has a 19 year old daughter, and an almost 17 year old son.
Some day Chuck will understand that it's commonplace to hear sweet comments from a 9 year old. But when those small, fleeting, probably inadvertent moments of sincerity come from the big brother? You wrap yourself up in that shit and hold on, because you can never take that for granted.
Mom, what's your twitter, tweeter, whatever you call it? Like, your username.
I don't really tweet, Bub. I didn't know you did, either.
I don't. I just got bored and thought I'd open an account. I wanted you to be the first person I added, because you're one of the funniest people I know.
It's such a little thing, but it's been feeding me for days.

I have a 9 year old who tells me, "You're the best mom I ever had." I laugh my face off and tell her she's the best daughter I've ever had. I don't want that to end.
