We have 2 Brass Armadillo Antique Malls ( www.brassarmadillo.com ) in our area. We stop by one of them a couple of times a year. This time we went in looking for a Christmas present for Brian's grandma. OMFG, I never want to look at another thing in my life. These stores are immense and I went to both today. Back home, we used to call these stores "Junk Shops" (or Junque Shoppes, depending on how different they wanted to be.) I guess we were a bit more direct and obvious back home. I love looking at all the different random crap, though. Normally. When I'm not shopping for someone else. Someone who has zero hobbies or interests. Fuck, I'm tired. I did see some interesting things there, though. These are still for sale somewhere: And if you can't get enough of dogs acting like humans: B said his grandma wouldn't like this. I think she might. Too bad she doesn't fish. This should be in my kitchen: I really wanted to get this for Hangers: Holy Hell. I didn't even know this existed: I got myself a sign that I had to own. And a mug, because I don't have enough of them. *cough* It'll go in here somewhere. And then this kid got freaked out by a giant plastic fish, but then proceeded to touch every dead thing in the place. I'm tired.

Lol ohhhh I hate that type of stuff. I'm can handle small ones but ... not flea markets and what not . I don't even like garage sales. Kudos to you for even attempting one.
(And that sign is perfect)

I looooove that stuff. But, yeah, calling themselves "antique" stores is seriously overstating it. You're a flea market and everybody knows it. Maybe an antique here and there, but mostly rubbish.
I lose myself in those places.
