Gram is sick. And it's sooo sad. Fever and vomiting and shivering under heavy blankets. I just feel helpless. I rub his back while he's puking into the trash can next to his bed. Kids are such troopers when they're sick.
"Mom, I'm really sorry for interrupting your day."
Aw, sweet baby, you're not. You are my day.

Poor baby love vomit is just the pits. Penny has my cold now except hers has a horrific wet nasty cough with it. At least her voice is adorable when she's stuffy. Kids always get sick for holidays

I think he's better. Last night was a vomit-fest, and his fever spiked to 103.3. This morning it's back down around 100. He's watching Looney Tunes and ignoring my hovering mom questions, so I'm crossing my fingers.

He ate a chicken strip for dinner. First thing he's kept down since breakfast Sat. morning. He slept most of the day. He must be feeling better, because he asked Chuck if he would make breakfast burritos in the morning. Fever at bedtime was 100.3.
I have repeatedly stated that I don't deal with vomit, and Chuck said I did much better today than I did when the big kids got sick. What he doesn't understand is that G is the only one of my 3 kids who can make it to a trash can, or the bathroom. Vomit in a trash can is easy. Vomit I have to clean off the carpet, bedspread, sheets, hair, and clothes? Nope. Gag. Sympathy vomit.
Thanks, guys for your sicky support!

LOL, I'm a sympathy puker too. To all the liars in the world: it is no fucking different when it's your kid.
B got mad at me one time, because of how I handled the kids when one of them was sick. In fairness, as soon as WeeMan started gagging, I did throw him toward his sister and run out of the room. Sister and couch caught all the mess. I can see where he might resent me a bit as he was cleaning both.
