I'm just not into it this year, more than I'm usually not into it. I did buy a small fake Christmas Tree for my new house, and I'm pretty excited about it but other than that I'm just not full of holiday cheer.

I never feel into Christmas until about a week before. I'm not able to dedicate a whole month to just one holiday

I'm trying ... But it's just so much work. Especially since I'm hosting dinner. I get to spend the month cleaning.

I'm never into Christmas. Before we had kids, we didn't celebrate it.

I swear to FSM, Chelsea, if you'd let me, I would TOTALLY pay for a cleaning service for you for Christmas. But you'd have to promise me you'd lay on your couch, watch TV, and eat bon-bons the whole time they're there.

Are they gonna clean my oven...
Because i have to do that. Something is stuck to the bottom and everything smells burned. Sigh. Damn pizza crusts.
I might agree to sit still if they clean that oven...

I guess I should have titled this post, "Read carefully. I'm mocking you." The only attention/comments are conservative Christian friends, who didn't appear to actually read the post. 2 likes did disappear, though.
Just a reminder, when you're out Christmas shopping this year: As Christians, we are all uneasy about the political correctness of "Happy Holidays" or other neutral phrases in lieu of "Merry Christmas". We seem to lose sight of what we're really celebrating. Please remember what a deeply meaningful Holy Day this is. It is nomenclature alone that negates the corruption and desecration of the celebration of the arrival of our Savior and makes it into a glorification of the Almighty Dollar. Please take note, when you are worshipping the Retail Kings this year, you must limit your adoration and support solely to those that are specifically perverting "Christmas". Entities that reject the explicit mention of Christ in relation to this 3 trillion dollar a year holy observance are nothing but false profits.

LOL, that's fucking awesome. Yes, we certainly must not forget what this holiday's really about.

Side note: no one but my one friend who is a former marine offered a logical explanation as to why the average citizen needs an ak47.
Apparently it's under stable if you're a rancher in AZ or NM and have the cartel running drugs through your backyard. For some reason I see that as being a plausible work tool for those folks.
Then he brought up the .50 cal sniper rifles *people own (they are like fucking small cannons. Seriously scary) which I disagree with as well but oddly worry about less because those take skill and practice to be effective?

Yup about the farms here in southern AZ. They are in very real danger constantly. People want to blame the state's stance on immigration on racism, but that ignores the very real danger created by cartels and coyotaje. Danger for our citizens and the undocumented immigrants.
