We're a busy family and I've been going nuts for a while trying to find a way to get us organized without my having to pack around a day planner. (Not gonna happen.) We tried quite a few options, but they were not what we needed. This weekend I came across Cozi, and I think this is the one! Not only is it a calendar that I can share across all of our devices, it's also a meal planner, grocery list, to do list, recipe box and journal. (Not planning to use the journal, but like that I could if I wanted to.) This is the daily view, so you can see a snapshot of everything at a glance: You can even sort the grocery list by heading, so if you need ingredients from different stores, or for a particular recipe, it's all sorted out for you: You can add recipes to the recipe box. If I want to add ingredients to the grocery list I just click on "Add to shopping" and all the ingredients appear on my shopping list, headed by the recipe name: I don't wanna sound like a crazy pervo, but I kinda want to have this app's baby right now. The only thing I don't like is the ads, but I'm not quite willing to commit to a $30/year subscription, so I'll tolerate them for now.

I tried cozi before, but we found that Google calendar shared between us with a calendar for each kid and school activities and texting works better for us

I found my husband could give fuck all about the kids schedule because he's never off to attend any of it so deleted all the apps and went back to my planner lol

Ok I found it, but I also found Hub family, did try that one? Looks like it's very apple oriented.

I hadn't gotten to that one, but I'll keep it on my list in case Cozi lets me down. So far, so good. We are getting shit done like mo' fo's, meals are as scheduled (instead of, "Shit! We didn't take anything out. Frozen pizza?"), shopping list in check. I feel like a real adult right now.

Haha, I bet it's awesome. I try to use my phone for grocery lists and to do things but I'm still a paper and pen kinda gal. It makes more sense to use the fancy phone for all it can do. Something like this app might streamline all of that.

If it's just me, yep, paper and pen all the way. (Mostly because I like the look of my handwriting.... ahem) Trying to coordinate w/B? I need something shared.
And yeah, I don't nearly use my phone or my tablet to their fullest potential.
