Or would "hump it or lump it" be a better title?
Things you've tried and would recommend and/or things that were a spectactular waste of money. Endorsements, if you will.
It's getting cold here. Too cold for the flip flops that I keep wearing, even though it's 52° outside.
I hate shoes. Really. I am barefoot at every opportunity. Eli once asked me if I was okay, because I had socks on in the house 2 days in a row. I got married barefoot. However...I was slipping my flip flops on, contemplating the ever nearing, horrifying return of sock season, and I thought about the fact that my flip-flops have probably seen over 100 miles this summer. And aside from a short breaking in period where the strap hits the top of my foot, they have been the most comfortable shoes I've ever had.
Olukai Ohana flip flops. With the most incredible arch support ever. I bought another pair half way through the summer, just in case. Didn't need them, but still...I love them THAT much.

With the most incredible arch support ever. I bought another pair half way through the summer, just in case. Didn't need them, but still...I love them THAT much. I totally prefer being barefoot, too. Sometimes at work, if my shoes are really bugging me, I'll kick them off. Clients ask, "Don't they pay you enough to afford shoes?" I typically reply, "They take them from me at the beginning of the day to keep me from running out." Shoes are the worst. Okay, so for my exercise in being able to string coherent sentences together..... My "love it" item has got to be my steam mop. We have laminate and tile flooring all throughout the downstairs portion of our house. Before the steam mop, conventional mops stunk up dank corners of our home. I tried the Swiffer mop, and it was okay, but I didn't feel like my floor was getting clean, because the Swiffer mop pads would leave a perfumy residue. B's grandma goaded me into trying this new "miracle" mop that she saw on QVC that cleans the floors with nothing but hot water. I thought it couldn't be worse than anything else, so I tried it. Holy crap does this thing get my floors clean. And without having to buy shitty chemicals, or store the residual damp dirt somewhere in the house. I just peel the dirty pad off the bottom and throw it in the wash. It's that simple! Order now and we'll throw in a complete set of.... Crap. I went full infomercial on you all. Sorry.

Infomercial on! Kinda what I had in mind.
Jergen's wet skin moisturizer (I got Monoi oil flavored). Love it. Forever ago I used an in-shower moisturizer that was an oil you put just on before you got out of the shower. My ex kept slipping on the oil remnants, so that went away. This is a lotion. Smells great, works, and takes less than half the time. Kinda pricey ($6 +), but it's something I'll justify, cuz, well, I just will.

I bought this blanket last month, because my old comforter is now missing an entire corner of stitching (I've used it almost every night for 14 years, so it was bound to end up that way.) When I first got it, I was concerned that it was too thin and would not keep me warm. Oh my god, I was so wrong. This is seriously the warmest blanket I've ever owned. I want one in every color now. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012UPV2WM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01

It looks like that perfect, worn in, soft blanket that you wrap yourself in, sip cocoa, and read.
