She's OK. Gets sad when she sees my arm. Doesn't want to talk about it at all. Flat refused to ride in the ambulance yesterday and.stayed with her daddy. Was pissed when I made her get looked over.
I've never been in a "real" accident. Very....traumatic.
Haven't had a breakdown yet. L is banking on when I see my daddy today.

Wow! That's awful. I'm glad Penny and Rocky are okay. You need to rest today. Sometimes that pain doesn't hit you for a day or two afterward. Don't stress yourself, kiddo.

We stopped and had the code read. A sensor going bad and nothing major. At a car dealership right now to possibly get me a vehicle.

I've never had to adult so much as I have in the last 24 hours.
Tomorrow the truck search begins in earnest.
Cried the entire way home from Houston last night when it hit home that I cannot purchase a new vehicle and still afford a new house. I absolutely detest used cars. So I've pretty much told L to go buy anything I don't even care. He informed me I have to make a decision and take lead on this because it is for me. That includes talking to the bank etc.
I know he's right but ffs I just don't want to.

Used cars can be okay. I've never owned a new one.
Have your good cries, you earned them! Then try to enjoy your truck hunt. I'm sure that you can find a perfect new to you truck that you can love.

If you can't afford what you want brand new then used is your only other option. Also, if you want something useful and affordable (read: something that still affords you the ability to move) then you may have to consider something you hadn't before.  . |
