Here's the next best thing...for now. I'm not giving up on finding a way to make a universal set, but could only find a plug-in for personal smilies. I thought that this would be good for now. I'll put together a tutorial on how to set your personal smilies in a moment (as soon as I test it, 'cuz I'm still working through it.) The plug-in allows for everyone to have 25 personalized smilies.

I think I'm missing something easy. I'll try some more when my brains aren't leaking out of my ears.

I was all excited when I found the personal smilies and then cursed out loud when I had to stop at 5. I startled Colin pretty badly

I found something that says that you can only add 5 at a time and then you have to save the changes and go back in.... Is that the issue?

Yup, it works. Now to see how many I can add and then I'll work on a how-to.

Success!! I have the option to do more than 5, but it does look like 5 at a time is the rule. To upload your personal smilies: Go to your Profile. There is a button on the right labelled "Edit Profile." Click that. Choose the tab labelled "Settings." Scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see a section titled "Your Personal Smilies." Add the direct link for each smilie on the lines provided. Click the Set Changes button. 5 more lines appear (you have to scroll to see them) Save Account Settings. Anyway, the link that Ky posted above has smilies that you can save to a picture site and get the link from there. This site also has smilies yoursmiles.org/index.phpIf you click on a smilie you like, a code appears above the group of smilies. click the bubble underneath that says "URL" and copy that link. I'm going to see if I can find more now. I'm also going to edit this again later, because I'm not sure if anyone not sharing a brain with me right now can understand it.... I'll also see if I can find more links. This one was easier to navigate. Copy the URL code next to whichever smilie you want. www.pic4ever.com/index.php

I like that too. I found a plug-in for the forum's general smilies, but it looks complicated. I'll give it a shot when I have a good amount of time.
