Ok, ky. This is how it is here. You would think that since I'm a Pinko Commie Leftist, this is the kind of thing I would embrace. I am firmly, 100% on the side of the antagonist in this story (Erika Christakis), who appears to be the only rational person on this campus. This bullshit has to stop.I'm not arguing that all the incidents cited in the story, just the Halloween part. People seem to have confused "politically incorrect" with "discrimination". But feel free to school me if you disagree. www.slate.com/blogs/xx_factor/2015/11/10/yale_student_protests_why_they_are_the_campus_pc_wars_at_their_best.html

I have thoughts, but I'm on my phone right now, I'll get to my computer this evening so I can type comfortably.

I couldn't even make it all the way through it.
I stopped when Mount H refused to perform the Vagina Monologues because it excluded the plight of transgender women.
Because heaven forbid plays that were written before something became a societal norm exclude said new "norm."
Exclusion or omission despite time period or societal relevance is now offensive.
I fucking give up. (And I agree with that Erika person. Being responsible for oneself and taking the time to talk to peers instead of automatically assuming it's someone else's responsibility to declare something offensive and then "handle" it for you seems a much more logical approach to me. But then I wasn't smart enough to get into Yale Lol wtf do I know?
