G is hubs' first kid. My third. I'm not insensitive, I'm just not a rookie. There was a little pimple-looking bump under his eye. Hubs: Have you seen his eye? Me: (obnoxiously, I admit, not even looking up, but typing on my phone) What's wrong with his eye? Hubs: It's red. Me: (still not really looking) Doesn't look red. Him: There's a bump. Me: Gram, does it hurt? Gram: No Me: Itchy? Gram: No Me: Bugging you? Gram: No Hubs: It might be a stye. Me: It's not on his eyelid. It's not a stye. Hubs: It looks like a whitehead. Me: Yep. Gram: Is that bad? Both of us: Nope Gram: Can I go now? Hubs: We'll keep an eye on it. Gram: Is that a pun? Me: Go play. Hubs: Should we make an appointment? Me: Hahaha. No. Hubs: What is it? Me: A bump. It happens. Hubs: We'll keep an eye on it. Me: Sounds good. I dunno. It's just funny to me to watch him overreact. I'm sure I did it, too. It's gone this morning, by the way.

LOL, that sounds like every conversation B and I have about our kids. He's never been exposed to kids before ours, whereas I spent my entire childhood taking care of my sisters and cousins.
There was only one time that he was correct in his concern, and that was just recently with my daughter's cyst.
It makes up for the time that we "had" to take her to the ER (at 3:00 in the morning) because she had a belly ache that he swore was her appendix.
It wasn't. She was just very constipated. That was a $300 enema. FML
